One of only three Hawks to score over 2,000 career points, Winkley led Rockhurst to 74 wins over four seasons. In his senior year, he powered the Hawks to a 24-6 record and a Sweet 16 finish in the 2002 NCAA Division II tournament. He is tied for second in scoring (2,063 points) and ranks fifth in rebounding (939) on the all-time Rockhurst charts.
