Three Hawks named GCAA All-America Scholars

Jack Junge led the Hawks with a 75.64 stroke average in 2019-20.
Rockhurst's Brett Blau, Jack Junge and Daniel Trost were named 2020 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

To be eligible for Division II Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically, participate in at least 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 78.0 and maintain a minimum cumula­tive grade point average of 3.20.

Blau competed in five tournaments in his sophomore year for the Hawks. The Overland Park, Kansas native averaged 77.73 strokes over 11 rounds and posted two top 30 finishes. He shot a career-low 73 and a 36-hole personal best 151 at the the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invitational.

Junge led the Hawks with a 75.64 stroke average over 11 rounds in five tournaments. The junior from Lawrence, Kansas tied for second in the William Jewell Duel and placed sixth at the McKendree Bearcat Intercollegiate with a career best 218 over 54 holes.

Trost averaged 77.64 strokes over 11 rounds in five tournaments and collected two top 30 finishes. The senior from St. Louis shot a season best 230 over 54 holes in the Midwest Regional last fall.
