Rockhurst advances to GLVC Tournament finals

Box Score Rockhurst posted a .295 hitting percentage in rolling to a 3-1 victory over second-seeded McKendree in the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament Saturday in East Peoria, Illinois.

Rockhurst (28-6) will meet top-seeded Lewis in the championship game of the GLVC Tournament at 12:00 p.m. Sunday. The Hawks lost at Lewis, 3-0, earlier this season.

The Hawks won the first two sets, 25-14 and 28-26. McKendree captured the third set, 25-22. Rockhurst closed out the match with a 25-19 win in the fourth set.

Karli Reichert led the Hawks with 19 kills and .429 hitting percentage. Grace Carter posted 13 kills, 29 assists and eight digs. Alyssa Woodman tallied 11 kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Emily Matio had 11 kills and a .556 hitting percentage.

Anne Hellwege finished with a team-high 22 digs. Dani Prusha posted 27 assists and 14 digs.
