Rockhurst posted a 5-2 victory over Bellarmine in a quarterfinal match in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championship Tournament Friday in Romeoville, Illinois.
The Hawks rallied after dropping two of three doubles matches.
Octavia Malin and
Janine Koleta teamed up to win No. 2 doubles. Koleta,
Kim Vrugteveen,
Tamara Santos and Malin each won in two sets in their singles matches.
The Hawks (13-5) will meet Lewis in the GLVC semifinals on Saturday, April 30. Rockhurst is ranked seventh and Lewis is ranked fifth in the NCAA regional rankings. The top seven in the region advance to the NCAA Championships.
