Rockhurst suffered a 5-0 loss to 39th-ranked Southern Indiana in a quarterfinal match in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament Friday in Romeoville, Illinois.
Southern Indiana swept the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead and wrapped up the match with wins in No. 2 and 6 singles.
Jonas Stropus led in No. 4 singles, 6-4 and 2-0, before the match was stopped when USI won the dual.
The Hawks end the season with a 9-9 record. Southern Indiana (16-4) advances to the GLVC semifinals on Saturday, April 30.
