Box Score Rockhurst rallied to score two goals in the final 19 minutes to post a 2-1 victory over fifth-seeded Quincy in the semifinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship Tournament Friday at Michael Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis.
The top-seeded Hawks (16-2-1) will be making their sixth appearance in the GLVC Championship game, facing seventh-seeded Indianapolis (10-5-4) in the GLVC tourney finals at 2 p.m. (Central time) on Sunday (Nov. 6). Indianapolis defeated third-seeded Southern Indiana, 2-0, in the second semifinal match.

Gianluca Bottoni tied the score at 1-1 in the 72nd minute,
Brian O'Neal knocked in the winning goal for Rockhurst in the 86th minute. Bottoni beat the Quincy keeper from eight yards out off a pass from
Andrew Patke for his eighth goal of the season. O'Neal tallied his fourth goal of the season on a 20-yard shot into the top right corner.
Rockhurst finished with 19 shots and 11 shots on goal. Bottoni led Rockhurst with seven shots and five shots on goal.
Ben McDonald came off the bench to post four shots.
Brian O'Neal and
Kaleb Jackson each had three shots.
Logan Feldmann made three saves for the sixth-ranked Hawks for this 16th victory of the season.
