Rockhurst sweeps Indy in GLVC tourney quarterfinals

Box Score Morgan Rietzke posted 15 kills and seven digs to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Indianapolis in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament Friday night in East Peoria, Ill.

The 21st-ranked Hawks tallied 25-20, 25-22 and 25-23 wins over the Greyhounds. Rockhurst will face McKendree in the GLVC Tournament semifinals on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Mattie Gray and Alyssa Woodman collected 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Anne Hellwege collected a team-high 20 digs. Lily Thornberg tallied 25 assists and seven digs. Grace Carter added 15 assists.
